Urban Elk at the Allenmore Golf Course is beautifully located in the heart of Tacoma. Offering luscious views, we have three beautiful event spaces to accommodate any size occasion:
The Lodge holds up to 200 guests and offers a gorgeous rustic feel with solid wood beams and high ceilings. The beautiful hardwood floors match any decor which allows your style and decorative choices to be the focus. This space has its own private bar, raised stage and secluded patio to enjoy the warm summer weather.
The Sam Allen Room can hold up to 30 guests and offers separation from our public restaurant with a gorgeous sliding door. It is great for private parties, meetings, business luncheons, smaller dinners and baby or bridal showers. This room offers panoramic windows with a beautiful view of the golf course.

Space Reservation Fees
This fee includes 5 hours of event time (non-wedding events) and 8 hours of event time for weddings & receptions, set up and break down, chairs & tables with white linens only, service wares, and our friendly and courteous staff. If you do want different color linens, those options are in the Event & Catering Packages.
The Lodge

This room is an impressive 4500 sq ft ballroom with exposed wood beams, stage, private patio overlooking the golf course, hardwood floors and a gorgeous built-in bar. It is also equipped with state-of-the-art AV including projector, 160” screen, flat screen TVs, speakers and wireless mic**.
Sam Allen Room

This secluded space in the Urban Elk Restaurant offers golf course views perfect for meetings, showers, or private lunches/dinners. This room also has a mounted 60” TV with AV options.
Executive Board Room
(seats 20 at conference table)
The executive boardroom offers meeting space with a warm wood setting and high-end comforts. Large, solid wood conference table with 20 executive chairs, mounted flat screen TV, gas fireplace and a private patio.
